Before and after service care

Prepare for your appointment.

Two Weeks Before Please Avoid:

It is recommended that you avoid waxing, tweezing, using retinol, vitamin E, and fish oil (unless necessary for medical reasons), as well as dyeing and tinting your eyebrows

24 hours Before Please Avoid:

The following should be avoided: Alcohol, Caffeine (coffee, tea, energy drinks), Smoking, and Blood Thinners (unless medically necessary).

These instructions apply to all services, including touch-up appointments. It is important to follow the appointment preparation in order to ensure good color retention. It is also imperative to create a good canvas for the artist to work on, and it will affect the healing process.

Aftercare

Scrubbing, picking, or rubbing at any scabbing should be avoided. Leaving it to flake off naturally will prevent the pigment underneath from being pulled off.

You should refrain from applying any makeup to your brows, lips, or eyes for a minimum of seven days.

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or tanning beds.

You should refrain from tweezing or dyeing your eyebrows for seven days.

Do not swim or submerge in water for 7 days.

The shower faucet should not be directed directly at the treated area(s). It may be possible for water pressure to push pigment out before it has healed.

In the treated area, do not apply any serums or creams other than the prescribed ointment.

Other than the ointment administered, the treated area should remain free of excess water during the healing process (7-10 days).

Itching can be alleviated by applying an aftercare ointment twice per day, once in the morning and once at night, for seven days.

Exercise that is intense or sweaty (outside bootcamp, hot yoga, saunas, etc.) should be avoided for seven days. Workouts that are light to moderate are acceptable.

HEALED BROWS, LIPS, and EYES SHOULD:

When spending long periods of time outdoors, wear a hat to protect yourself from the sun.

Protect yourself from the sun by wearing the appropriate sunscreen

It is recommended that they be touched up every 6 - 10 weeks and once again at one year to maintain their fresh appearance.
